Waterfront; overlooking the stunning Wellington Harbour, or Te Whanganui-a-Tara and sporting a majestic view of nearby Days Bay, Wellingtons premier beach, Wellington city centre, the Hutt Valley, and Matiu Island in the middle of the harbour. The night views are brilliant

Adjacent to the East-by-West Ferry terminal and only 30 minutes from Wellington center (including the walk along the beach). On a calm day you can see the fish in the water below your room, on a windy day, the surf is both interesting and exhilarating. You can watch for hours.

This striking 4 level home was designed by Wellington Architects, Melling Morse, with instructions that it was to be purpose built for B&B accommodation. The tower has a suite on each level, each with its own walk-in wardrobe & bathroom. Level 2 with the Fore deck visible includes the Main Deck (Lounge), Galley (Kitchen) and Quarter Deck (dining), whilst the boat shed is located at road level, enabling an easy launch of the kayaks. A large sun deck is located at level 3, beside the Captains Quarters. The Crowsnest Suite for guests takes up the entire level 4 where we have installed lounging furniture to enable a private getaway.

Days Bay Homestay offers time out to relax and enjoy all that Eastbourne has to offer - we enjoy swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, biking, and walking over our beautiful native bush walks. We are a short walk to our local cafes, or a 20-minute ferry ride to Central Wellington.

We offer our bikes, kayaks, some snorkling gear and walking advice as all inclusive. The Blokarts include a charge based on the time used.
