  • Booked for 3 nights through secret sale. Our flight couldn't land due to fog so we had to fly in the next day. Tried to contact the hotel to inform them but didn't answer. Next day we checked in, reception didn't even ask why we checked in a day late. Tried to go up to our room but one of the two small elevators wasn't working, there was a cue and maintenance strolled past. When we alerted him, he checked to see that it wasn't working, and said that it wasn't working yesterday as well and walked off. Things weren't much better when we got to our 11th floor room. The room was tiny, view over a dirty car park. Tried to get some sleep but could hear every small noise, including the when people next door closed their curtains! not to mention the mattress and pillows were strangely uncomfortable. Asked reception for late checkout, they said that checkout is 10 and they extended it til 11. I asked for later, and they said 11:30. Later i checked the hotel brochure it said checkout is at 11am. 1

  • Was clean enough - bed very uncomfortable had two single mattresses joined by a board underneath to make queen size. Odd set up - pillows were hard and only had two - though they added another set on third day. Very convenient location - staff were friendly. 5

  • Fantastic location, being a 30 sec walk to lambton quay. Didn't expect the $100 bond which was debited & then credited, surely a credit card imprint would suffice. Our bed wasn't made the next day which i thought was odd for a 4 star hotel. It wasn't until i found the flyer that said you were supposed to leave it on the bed if you wanted it made up. Have not seen that before, it would have been nice for this to have been more obvious. Was a little underwhelmed at size of rooms considering it was 4 star, however, all in all a great stay & would stay again if there was another cheap rate. Next time i'll know what to expect!. 5

  • Great location, clean and comfortable rooms, good shower and toilet. I still haven't got my $100 bond back, although it's been 6 days since i stayed... Other than that, it was a great place to stay!. 5

  • I would not stay here again. Small room for a 4 star hotel overlooking a noisy carpark. No air conditioning controls.i do not like having a $100 hold put on a credit card at check in when they already have details.check in staff very friendly.over all very disappointing. 1

  • Very good, we had a king room, it was very spacious, staff were polite. I thought the value for the room was good. I agree with ben, the extra $100 bond was not expected, it wasn't a problem, but it would be nice if there could be warning for such expenses. Perhaps i haven't travelled around enough to know these things? enjoyable stay none the less and i'm very statisfied. 5
