The Wellington waterfront is full of restaurants, cafes, shops, galleries and, most famously Te Papa, the Museum of New Zealand. The city also hosts various performing arts, festivals, international and national sporting events and conferences.

We stayed 2 nights but would easily have stayed longer of the 3 motels we stayed in on our holiday this was the best. After two stays in recent months we are very impressed with the facilities, the location and particularly the friendly and obliging natures of management and staff. The family unit we stayed in both times was just fine for ourselves and our two adult children.

We had stayed in 7 motels during our holiday. This by far was the most pleasant and unfortunately we were there for only one night. We had everything we needed and were given a tour of the rooms and explained to how the TV worked. I appreciate the time taken by the owner and also am grateful to him for phoning and organising a taxi for us for early next morning. I hope we didn't wake anybody with our very early departure. Thank you for the most well appointed motel we stayed in during the 3 weeks holiday.
