Our Wellington accommodation offers the friendly and spacious atmosphere you would expect from a country motor lodge, but within 7 minutes of Wellington City.
Our new Campervan Park opened in summer 2005. It has 27 powered sites with all facilities.
Capital Gateway Motor Inn has accommodation for up to 140 guests and offers studio, one bedroom units and two bedroom units. Some of the motel accommodation units have self catering kitchenettes with fridge, sink, hot plates and a microwave oven. The Executive one bedroom units have luxurious spa baths.
Conference Rooms (small, medium or large) are available for hire and are ideal for business seminars or social functions. Our licensed restaurant and bar can take care of all of your catering needs.
Capital Gateway Motor Inn is set on large grounds and there is a grassed area the size of a football field in front of the units ideal for children and guests to enjoy.
Capital Gateway Motor Inn is located just off State Highway 1. Access is clearly sign posted to the sweeping entrance way that leads to reception.

Very clean. Really easy to find. Helpful advice from the desk staff. Waited ages for an average evening meal. A small niggle in an otherwise pleasant stay. Overall - good.

This a lovely motor inn,great service.as i was new to wellington the staff were great,very helpful too,the heating was great & plenty of room 4 the children.id give this AAAAAA++++++.couldnt belive room out the back 4 motor homes,so will stay again.pitymy partner was sick he missed out on the hospitality Sue Hancock & children

Spacious room and great spa bath setting. Easy access to city and northern suburbs. Needs better heating than panel heaters for those cold Wellington winter nights.
