Ivory Towers Lodge

Welcome to our lodge on the West Coast of New Zealand. We are situated in the heart of Fox Glacier Township and at the Gateway to South Westland World Heritage Park.

This New Zealand lodge has been owned and operated for many years by Ann Scott and offers the best in budget accommodation for tourists and backpackers in this area of the West Coast - and what a area - Glorious high mountains, magnificent forests, dark brooding lakes, with wild windswept beaches....... and the Fox Glacier.

Our backpacker lodge is warm and welcoming and our hotel like accommodation offers open fires, quiet lounges, great music, fully equipped kitchens and wonderful balconies for those famous West coast sunsets.

All of the beds are fully made up with sheets and duvets.

The lodge boasts a very large free video selection (for those odd wet days), its own book exchange and free Spa Pool. The kitchens are fully equipped as well as free tea, sugar and herbs.

Our rooms vary from Single rooms with T.V to six bed share rooms, double /twin rooms with and without en-suite and t.v., to family style rooms complete with ensuite , kitchens, video and t.v.

Most of our rooms are four share, and during the summer we have limited amount of camping spaces. Of course we also have a fully compliant disabled unit.

Currently we have three internet terminals, as well as Bike Hire and genuine backpacker information. We can give you reliable info on local walks, Glacier Walks, as well as the more adventurous activities and we can help you book them all.
