Heartland Hotel Fox Glacier

Our Heartland Hotel Fox Glacier is nestled at the base of the majestic Southern Alps in the Westland World Heritage Park.

The Hotel is the ideal base from which to explore the many local attractions including: guided walks on the ice flows of the Fox and Franz Joseph Glaciers, flight seeing, the Kotuku (white heron) and seal colonies, lakes, salmon farms, the wild West Coast beaches and surrounding rain forest and bush. Visit beautiful Lake Matheson and capture it on film.

Relax with a drink in the Guest Lounges or House Bar in our hotel in Fox Glacier and sample the cuisine in Aggies Restaurant—specialising in local delicacies, with a New Zealand flavour, such as whitebait, salmon and venison.
