Your Kiwi hosts, Jeanne and Carl, are fifth generation New Zealanders who have an extensive knowledge of their amazing country.
They both enjoy meeting guests from different cultures and look forward to sharing their local knowledge and welcome you to their home.
Carl, a designer of fine furniture, loves restoring early New Zealand colonial pieces.
He has smaller craft items made from locally sourced recycled timbers, which can be purchased by guests.
For relaxation, Carl tends to his chickens, herb and vegetable plots and breeds native palms.
Jeanne has a background in finance as a banking executive, an invaluable asset in the daily running of McCormick House.
She is also very passionate about her garden and catering to the whims of their 2 cats, 'Libby' and 'Toby'.
Jeanne and Carl are wine and food lovers, living their dream close to Marlborough's famous wine region.
They savour the delights of local wineries, restaurants, farmer's markets and art galleries.
Short bush walks which Jeanne and Carl enjoy, are easily accessed from McCormick House's doorstep.
