Rosalie Bay Rd. Tryphena Great Barrier Island
Be touched by nature! Visit our farm and macadamia nut orchards, situated in a stunningly beautiful valley at the Southern end of Great Barrier Island. Surrounded by mature native forest alive with native bird song, Nature's Garden B&B is the perfect accommodation for lovers of nature and serenity. Once you are here, you can unwind and go for a stroll through park-like orchards, stop at our lily-ponds and watch the endangered Brown Teal ducks. Be amazed by the friendly and inquisitive Kakas (native parrot).Discover our stand of ancient Kauri trees on one of our many bush walks. The tramping track to Rosalie Bay, famous for its fishing and diving amongst the locals, will take you about 35 minutes. It will give you great views over our valley and to Cuvier Is. and the Mercury Islands beyond.
Use our place as a base from which to explore the many other attractions the Barrier has to offer, like the Hot Springs in Kaitoke Valley, amazing Surf Beaches, the Kauri-Dams near Port Fitzroy or walk up to Mt Hobson, the highest peak on the island with 360 degrees views.
Come back at the end of the day to relax on our extensive decks and manicured lawns, enjoying the peace and quiet our place has to offer. Wake up in the morning to a healthy breakfast with organic produce, wherever possible, including fresh farm eggs, fresh full cream milk and home made yoghurt.
