Wetland View Park

115 Snake Creek Rd Westhaven Inlet RD1 Mangarakau

Pet Friendly Non Smoking Carpark access

Get right away from it all. Stay in our luxurious chalets and explore the Wild West Coast of Golden Bay.

The chalets have all linen provided and are serviced daily. Each chalet has a fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook for yourselves or you can make the most of your days and enjoy our lovely 3 course evening meals served to you in the luxury of your chalet.

If you don't want to relax and enjoy the total peace quiet and birdsong, there are walks you can do from your chalet through the wetland or along the old logging roads through some of our beautiful native bush. The West Coast is just a few minutes drive down the road or you can launch your boat into Westhaven Inlet from the boat ramp 10 minutes back towards Collingwood.

We have a really lovely glow worm grotto that we are happy to take our guests through. There is a lovely display of glow worms, a number of koura (our native fresh water crayfish) and cave wetas to see.

Good facilities. Missed a view of plantings or beautification from the chalet windows and deck.

Sally brought us a bowl of fresh fruit from the garden when we arrived and explained all the local walks. In the evening we were taken to a grotto to see glow-worms.

This is the second time we have stayed at Wetland View Park. It is a wonderful retreat where compulsory relaxation is the theme. We also ordered dinner one night which was absolutely delicious and highly recommended for a 5-star experience.
