Tahi Lodge is located on the Matakana Coast on the ridge between Snells Beach and Algies Bay with panoramic coastal and rural views over Kawau Bay. We provide private, relaxing surroundings for individual guests, couples, families and small groups of up to 6 guests.
The Lodge is close to all Matakana Coast feature areas including Matakana Village, Brick Bay, Sandspit, Martins Bay, Kawau Island, Scotts Landing, Mahurangi, Tawharanui, Omaha, Whangateau, Leigh, Goat Island, Pakiri, Warkworth and Puhoi.
Tahi Lodge offers two beautiful suites with sumptuous king size beds, separate living rooms, modern bathrooms with heated tile floors and private deck or patio with extensive views in a tranquil setting. Continental breakfast supplies are provided in the room rate. WIFI internet access and Sky television are complimentary.
The Kawau Apartment caters for up to 4 guests. It is fully self contained with two bedrooms - the king master bedroom has direct access to the deck and has wonderful sea and rural views. The second bedroom can be configured with either 2 x king single beds or converted to a California super king size bed. The apartment has a full kitchen, breakfast bar, living room with leather lounge suite and full deck with outdoor furniture and barbecue.
The Matakana Suite features a king bedroom for up to 2 guests with direct access to a north east facing patio with views over Kawau Bay. It has a large separate living room with leather lounge suite and chaise lounge chair with large Sky television, tea/coffee making facilities and a modern ensuite bathroom.
Tahi Lodge is ideal base for couples, families and groups of up to six guests for short breaks, holidays and special occasions such as weddings, anniversaries and management retreats. Regular activities include romantic weekends, boating/fishing adventures, golf breaks, wine tasting and girls/boys weekends away.
Matakana Coast Wine Country activities include farmers markets, vineyards and cafes with regular entertainment events, arts and craft venues including Morris and James Pottery, Tawharanui Regional Park, Goat Island Marine Reserve with glass bottom boat excursions, Pakiri Beach, Omaha Beach, golf courses, Kawau Island, horse trekking, coastal and deep sea fishing and sailing.
