  • Best to come if you are in the market for a purchasing land or purchasing a new business owner opportunity. Unfortunately for other guests, the owner/operator of the animal farm was sick last year and the animal park is closed. Owners are nice and friendly and location is lovely, but the holiday park is in transition and upgrades and maintenance work is being deferred for new owners. We loved the tour and the stories of the wallabies. We wish the owners the best, we could see that illness had interrupted a wonderful animal park/holiday park. Specifics- the owners are dividing and selling their property. The former main building has been renovated for the owners to stay in so now the camp is down to one toilet and shower (in the same room). Some of the cabins have en suite but some are supposed to use the shared toilet shower and during the busy summer season that was up to 30 people for one toilet/shower room combination. . 1

  • This guest approach the owners with a number of complaints during their stay. Our website have indicated the changes we have made to our holiday park and the majority of our guests have been more than happy with the changes we have made. The Animal Park has been closed from 18 months however we still have a number of Animals for visitors to see and this season the wallabies have been seen in the wild coming close to the Park in the evenings. It is disappointing to receive a negative review when the guest booked a standard cabin and that is what they have paid for. It is general practice to use the communal facilities in this situation, however if they wished to have a self contained unit then would need to upgrade to pay accordingly.

  • When we arrived the toilet bowl severely needed cleaning, dead bugs on the floor, recycling was full, jug was faulty. It was described as having a TV - this was a 14" that due to reception and a faulty aerial cord would only receive TV1 if we fiddled with the cord. (Apparently they are switching to freeview within the next 18 months). On the plus side the bed was great, the shower fine, and the view and quiet were great. However the overall impression is that the hosts were far more interested in taking care of the animals than the accomodation. 1

  • The guests expressed their unhappiness with the TV reception and they were offered Freeview in our main lounge facility. However they did not express their opinion on the other issues they have described or brought these issues to our attention.
