  • We all had a great time decided to stay an extra two nights. Great facilities, so much to do so close. Expectations were exceeded in most ways. Staff were very friendly and go out of their way to help. Space was tight for camping at times. They could do with more camping space. May need to level some of that hill and and put some camping sites for tents up there. 5

  • We enjoyed our experience and thought the staff were approachable and friendly. The mattresses were uncomfortable and some new ones probably wouldn't go astray. Our room was clean but more dry tea towels in the kitchen would have been helpful. These are just minor things however and we thought it was a good, affordable place for those seeing the caves. 3

  • We were only here for one night but it was great. Its really close to the caves and just across the street from the tour pick up location, which was great especially not knowing the town. The room (double bed with ensuite) was exactly what we were looking for, we just needed a place to sleep for the night and to be able to shower in the morning. The price was also very reasonable. 5

  • My favourite backpackers so far. You are essentially in a log cabin, with a nice central fire place. Highly recommend a car to come here though as it is a 2km (ish) walk into town. Nice farmland views. 5

  • A nice small hostel which meant you could meet others easily. The facilites were clean and tidy and never seemed busy despite the place being full. Lots of big tables to eat at and for those needing extra food they sold small amounts at reasonable prices (eg. slices of bread, single eggs etc). The pool could've done with a clean but we all still went for swims and hung out in the afternoon sun - very nice! Walking distance to Legendary Black Water Rafting Co. Would definitely return for another stay. 4

  • I thought the advertising for the tent site was misleading, as it did not specify that the price was per person not per site. The site was also unpowered, not that this affected us, but others may find this a huge inconvenience if expecting to have a power supply on their site. 4
