  • Delighted to see a welcome board/message on our arrival. Chris was attentive and patient - especially with my 7 year-old who wanted to pat and hold every animal. Simple furnishings and conveniences with a homey, country feel. 3

  • Chris was a great tour guide and we enjoyed hearing all the stories of the animals. Accommodation was comfy and breakfast plentiful. Darker curtains in the kids room might have helped them get to sleep sooner. Easy to find location. Great place to stay. 4

  • Simply an amazing host and great experience. My 3yr old daughter loved the animals so much. She cried badly when we had to leave the farm. This is how good the farm stay was. The only thing that could be better was to perhaps have rubber boots for visitors. This is for mud protection. This would be useful for both the Farm Chris and any visitor to the farm. We were very worried that we might dirty the carpet of the room. 5

  • Room was clean. But the best experience is the great hospitality provided by Chris. He was very patient and show us the farm and provided many interesting and educative information. Need to improve on signage, we almost couldn't find the farm as the signage was too small. 4

  • We are not permitted by law to have large signage at this stage and are working on it. We do have a flag we put out and a phone call for assistance is always welcome.

  • Review on Warwickz farm: We are a family of five from Singapore and we stayed at Warwickz farm for 3 days 2 nights in December. There was a large variety of rare animals at the farm which were all very well kept. We would also like to highlight that the tour at the beginning of the stay was very informative and it was evident that Chris, the owner, knew his animals well. We liked the fact that he also told us his personal stories and experiences. The shy but curious alpacas were very fun to feed. Simply wave a branch of fresh leaves and the whole pack will come running across the pent towards you. All of us loved Robbie and his family -- the rare breed of pigs with furry coats and mini tusks. Robbie, the father of three adorable squealing piglets, would come trotting towards you once you call his name. We couldn't help thinking that he resembled a dog. The miniature horses, Fernando and Rosita, were very friendly and are my personal favorite animals on the farm. As a special treat, Chris let me groom Pedro, the white donkey, which I enjoyed very much. There were many rabbits which varied in size, color and species. It was very interesting learning about all the rare species of rabbits and where they come from. As for the accommodation, the queen sized bed on the first floor was a little too soft for our liking. The rest of the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the wide selection of DVDs provided. All in all, the farm stay at Warwickz was very enjoyable for the whole family. We will definitely recommend Warwickz to our friends. Thank you Chris and Elaine for a wonderful stay. The Khalid family 5

  • Stayed there for 2 nights and we (both my children and my parents) had an awesome experience there! The accommodation was simple (yet everything we need are there), but was filled with many beautiful treasures (some nostalgic, some beautiful, some "ancient") and lovely knitted items by Elaine. Excellent place for my children aged 2, 3 and 4 years old, who totally adored Uncle Chris whenever he let them feed the Alpacas and the kunekune pigs. The farm also have a great collection of animals like various types of rabbits, guinea pigs, peacocks, chickens, etc. And of course our all-time favourite Robbie and Rosie and their family of piglets. Last but not least, just before we drove off on the day of departure, the miniature horse (can't really remember her name now) at the gate of the farm came by to bid us farewell. Considering what she had went through recently and that she is a very shy horse, we were very touched by what she did. This stay was the last stop and definitely put a memorable closure to our trip in New Zealand. 5
