Directions

Hakea's location is:
141 Phillips road Raglan 3894

Here are some directions that will help get to Hakea:

•Whatawhata Rd/State highway 23

•Turn onto Te Mata Rd
( Go through Te Mata Town)

•Do not turn off at Bridal Veil Falls
( Go straight through for 7km )

•Turn right onto Phillips Rd

1.4km first letterbox (141) on your left.

Then you will find two driveways:

Left going up the hill is to our neighbour’s and Right that goes down the hill which is to Hakea.

The gate (which says Hakea on it) most likely will be closed with a combination lock.

The code lock is easy to use:

Open the lack at the bottom and placed the four digit code in from the arrow - 3035

Then simply push the lock in to open.

Please make sure when going through the gate that you change the code and RE LOCK THE GATE by changing the code and putting the lock together.

Drive slowly all the way to the end of the driveway where you will reach the a "Welcome to Paradise" sign.

For camping:

Just after this is a grass road to the right, stay right which goes around the back of the community until you get to the composting toilet block which is the campering area where you can find a nice spot to camp and we will meet you there and show you around :-)

For Retreat Accommodation:

Drive all the way to the end of the driveway and there will be a carpark to be able to park you vehicle. Next to the car park there is a gate leading into the community space where we will meet you to show you around.

Our check-in time is between 3pm till before sunset. Please communicate if you will arrive outside of these hours.
