Relax in a slice of Greytown's history...
In the heart of Greytown, just 300 metres from the village centre stands one of Greytown's oldest homesteads. Built in 1868 as the local saddle supplier, The Saddlery now offers luxury accommodation just seconds from everything Greytown has to offer.
Stay in this heritage listed villa whilst discovering the hidden treasures of the Wairarapa region. Whether strolling through the antique shops in the village, or simply relaxing in the garden amidst the roses, your stay here will help you unwind and provide the perfect base for your visit to the Wairarapa.
The Saddlery offers 3 rooms, all beautifully appointed in keeping with the heritage of the property and each offering Sky TV, Netflix, tea and coffee and free WI-FI. All rooms are private with ensuite bathrooms, two of which are located upstairs, and one downstairs in it's own corner of the house. Nightly room rates also include continental breakfast.
The Saddlery has a large dining table for you to enjoy breakfast from or there is a second separate table for added privacy. Or why not take you breakfast outside and enjoy it in the garden? The choice is yours. The separate guest lounge will also provide you with another spot in which to relax and enjoy during your stay.
Just as important as the house is the garden, a wonderful mix of mature trees and delicate flowers for you to stroll through or even lay about in the sun whilst listening to the birds, such as native Kereru and Tui. Purveyors of roses won't be disappointed either, as The Saddlery boasts one of the Wairarapa's richest displays of roses on the section.
