Was very disappointed at first. When we went into our room, the smell of chemicals was so strong it started to give us headaches, even after having door open for about 15 minutes it was still really bad. We also noticed a lot of mold around the door frames which was very surprising to find in a hotel of this standard. My husband told reception, who were very surprised to hear about the mold. They moved us to another room which was excellent, no complaints about that room at all. Car parking was a bit of a pain in their car park but i guess you get that at inner city hotels. Overall, happy with the hotel.

Second visit to this hotel. First stay was good,payed extra for harbour view(13th floor)full picture window nice room. Asked for this floor/room etc 6 weeks in advance! Got to hotel and room given on 11th floor you only could see harbour if you stood up all the time,crap TV,smaller room,only one couch,no coffee table,smaller bathroom!Went and complained,only to be told room booked for month-not offered another room or compensation!Will not use this hotel again due to the lack of communication, also always seem to be problems at reception when passing thru.

Good Location, close to bars and restaurants - The room we had was a studio room on second floor, noisy at night and it was quite small with low ceilings.. would upgrade next time to a better room. Otherwise was a good stay and would stay again because of how close to the Viaduct.

Room was clean, bed comfy etc. Would like to have had a quick "do you know how to use the key card?" as i didn't and took a while to figure it out. Also think a price list of what was included in the minibar would be good as my daughter snaffled what turned out to be a very expensive packet of chippies before i could stop her, as they looked to be complimentary sitting in a basket by the teabag stand. Other than that though the hotel is nice and central and we enjoyed our stay. Would stay again!

Im not one to complain. I have been here 3days. There is no air and i feel i am going to sufercate, I have offered to do the food shopping for them as they had only half of the menu available . The beds are wonderful but the the pillows are great if your a giant, also some of the food that they DO HAVE AVAILABLE would be great if your a "ant". Its not what they can do for the customer its how much they can make from you. Im very disappointed. I much prefer SKYCITY HOTEL! p.s dont ask for a tiny cup of sugar they charge you $3.50 !!!!!!! should be free dont ya think when your paying a very very good price for a room thats not even worth it. Dont be fooled by the photos.
