  • They mentioned bacon and eggs on the BBQ for breakfast on the web site however, it was a continental breakfast. Which was fine but I was craving eggs and bacon due to reading about it. 4

  • I apologize if the breakfast info was misleading. A continental breakfast is included in our room rates, with Bacon and Eggs being available upon request at $10 per person.. Charles also loves his Bacon and Eggs,so fully understands how you must have felt! They are always available when requested.....so sorry! Tam

  • Thanks Lucy. Most people say the Hidden Valley is better than the website photos can capture. The local tribe named this part of the Valley Wairua Ora ,meaning spiritual contentment. Our guests say they they feel it when they cross the river. The main point is that you had an experience you valued .In a fast racy world its nice to leave with something that lasts longer than the experience itself.Well done Charles

  • If you are looking for a night away from the hum of urban life, the chatter of children, the jangle of worklife, or the tedium of the highway then this is the place to come. You will be welcomed, shown around the enchanting grounds, introduced to the romantic potential of the secluded bush baths .... and then left alone to enjoy each other's company in a stylish, comfortable and well thought out living space. Breath in the splendour of the New Zealand bush before breakfast, envigorate your body in a mountain pool, stretch your muscles beyond your daily commute and .... chill. R&R for the body, soul and relationship. 5

  • Excellent lodging. warm and quiet rooms plus comfortable beds. Open air bath is amazing... though maybe better music could be on offer - i.e. wood wind chimes as opposed to coldplay (lol). Friendly hosts. All in all - highly recommended. 5
