Eco friendly one bedroom self contained cottage, own solar panels, own water supply, in country, yet only 4 kms to town center and 1 km from hospital.
Get away from it all to peace and tranquility;
Relax out the back of the cottage , in the outdoor area in the morning sun, with your coffee. Chill out with a drink in the evening while watching the sun go down over the majestic Tararua Mountains and Wairarapa Valley. The stunning vista is forever changing with the seasons.
We have for your enjoyment, plenty of DVDs, books,a heat pump, TV, freeview, DVD player.
A perfect place to stay, whatever the occasion.
We are a short drive to town and just down the road from Gladstone, which offers some of the regions top wineries, eating venues and entertainment.
Watsons Cottage's open interior offers, new, clean furnishings with, a Queen size bed with fantastic views as you wake up in the morning.

Halfway between wellington and napier, watsons cottage is a great place to stopover. The cottage is spacious, the bed very comfortable and is located in a quiet rural setting a few km from the henley park walking tracks. A good place for exploring the eastern tararuas (mt holdsworth). The indian restaurant in town serves some of the best curry in nz. This is a great cottage. It is clean, comfortable and very quiet. The location is perfect place to stay for a weekend or to use as a base for exploring the wairarapa. Very dog friendly as well -we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend watsons cottage .
