Canyon Explorers is one of Queenstown’s most experienced canyoning operators, delivering guided adventures in some of the region’s most spectacular natural environments.
Operating since 1998, our team specialises in small-group canyoning experiences that combine waterfalls, crystal-clear pools, abseiling, ziplining, natural slides and jumps with expert guiding and a strong focus on safety, fun and personal service.
Our Half-Day Canyoning Adventure takes guests into a hidden canyon close to Queenstown, making it an ideal option for visitors wanting to pack a huge amount of adventure into half a day. Transport, specialist canyoning equipment and free photos are included, with hot showers and hot drinks waiting back at our central Queenstown base after the adventure.
For guests looking for a bigger challenge, our Full-Day Canyoning Adventure explores the spectacular Routeburn Valley, surrounded by native forest and dramatic alpine landscapes. This more immersive experience includes transport, specialist equipment and a full picnic lunch.

Full refund – if a cancellation is made outside of 24 hours prior to the booked departure
No refund – within 24 hours of the booked trip departure
Full refund – if cancelled by the Operator prior to the scheduled departure, due to weather conditions, events, incidents or insufficient numbers of people to run a trip.
