Beachfront Campsites - Campervan or Caravans Only - Powered

If you're in a campervan or caravan, you can't go past our Beach Terrace sites. You'll be as close to the beautiful Hahei Beach as you can be, on the raised terrace overlooking our vegetated dunes, the beach, and Mercury Bay. Each site is grassed, powered, with individual water tap from our own spring, and has a picnic table and clothesline. 'Beachfront' zone on Resort Map. These sites are only for campervans and caravans. Not all sites have direct views of the sea (we will do our best to accommodate requests). Make sure your campervan or caravan has a current Electrical Warrant of Fitness, and your power cord has been recently checked and tagged by an electrician. Please note that domestic power cords will not connect to our power boxes, you must have an approved 'camping-style' power cord with three long round pins and a safety RCD.

Powered Campsite - Main Park Area

You are spoilt for choice in our Resort grounds with over 100 powered sites in a variety of locations. Choose to be tucked behind the dunes, beside the picturesque Wigmore Stream, under a pohutukawa tree or beside a sheltering hedge. All sites are grassed, you have easy access to water taps and toilet amenity buildings around the Resort, and our communal hub with kitchen, showers, laundry, barbeques and playground is centrally located. The Main Park encompasses all sites in zones Crescent, Paradise, Dunes, Sunrise and Pohutukawa (Prevoiusly known as A to E) on our Resort Map. We will endeavour to accommodate specific site requests. Our powered sites are suitable for campervans and caravans or tents with an approved power cord. Make sure your campervan or caravan has a current Electrical Warrant of Fitness, and your power cord has been recently checked and tagged by an electrician. Please note that domestic power cords will not connect to our power boxes, you must have an approved 'camping-style' power cord with three long round pins and a safety RCD. -

Non Powered Campsite - Main Park Area

We have over 100 sites for you to set up camp with your tent, van, car, bivvy, or wigwam, and experience beachside camping at it's best. Choose to be tucked behind the dunes, beside the picturesque Wigmore Stream, under a pohutukawa tree or beside a sheltering hedge. All sites are grassed, you have easy access to water taps and toilet amenity buildings around the Resort, and our communal hub with kitchen, showers, laundry, barbeques and playground is centrally located. The Main Park encompasses all sites in zones Crescent, Paradise, Dunes, Sunrise and Pohutukawa on our Resort Map. We will endeavour to accommodate specific site requests.

Powered Campsite - Reserve Area

Our Reserve Park encompasses all sites in Airstrip and Cedar on the Resort Map. Reserve Park is great for families with young children as it can be less busy than Main Park in our busy months, and have fewer vehicles driving around. There are no amenity buildings in Reserve Park, but you have access to all the amenities in Main Park including toilets no more than 100m walk, and our communal hub with kitchen, showers, laundry, barbeques and playground. Our powered sites are suitable for campervans and caravans or tents with an approved power cord. Make sure your campervan or caravan has a current Electrical Warrant of Fitness, and your power cord has been recently checked by an electrician. Please note that domestic power cords will not connect to our power boxes, you must have an approved 'camping-style' power cord with three long round pins and a safety RCD.

Non Powered Campsite - Reserve Area

Surrounded by beautiful shady trees, Reserve Park is great for families with young children in a quieter part of the Resort during Peak Season and Easter. You’re still only a 2 minute stroll to Hahei Beach. The Reserve Park encompasses all sites in the Airstrip and Cedar Zones on the Hahei Beach Resort Map. All camping sites have easy access to all the Resort facilities that make for cruisy camp life. You will love the quiet calm of this corner of the Resort. * Only a 2 minute walk through the Resort to Hahei Beach * A quiet reserve area, ideal for families at busy Peak Season times * Easy access to a water tap in close proximity * The nearest toilet amenity building is less than a minute walk * Centrally located communal facilities with kitchen, fridges and freezers, showers, and laundry facilities * A small kitchenette is located in the Airstrip for ease of washing dishes as marked on our Resort map * Secure charging lockers available to hire at reception for phones, cameras and laptops * Shared BBQs, a covered alfresco dining area * Onsite barista coffee and the shop has all the camp basics including ice (and icecream!) * Onsite restaurants and bar in peak summer season * The playground is centrally located, bring your own bikes, scooters - don’t forget the helmets! * Outdoor showers near the beach access points * Fish cleaning station for your daily catch
