We offer a range of guided kayaking tours and freedom rental sea kayaking trips in the Abel Tasman National Park. Our guided kayak tours will take you along a stunning stretch of coastline for a fantastic sea kayaking experience. Enjoy panoramic views of Abel Tasman National Park, check out nesting cormorants, sea caves, islands and the world famous Split Apple Rock.

Our Abel Tasman freedom kayaking package allows you the independence to see the wonders of the coastline at your own pace with all it's spectacular views and natural spots to visit and outdoor activities. We provide full and half day guided sea kayaking tours in the Abel Tasman National Park. Cancellation Policy

Refund policy:
‍If a client cancels within 48 hours of day of departure then no refund will be made All other cancellations prior to 48 hours may incur a 10% administration/cancellation fee.

‍Terms & Conditions:
‍Both the Operator and any Agent (including their respective employees, agents, officers and directors) exclude, to the fullest extent possible under law, all and any liability for any loss, damage or injury (whether direct or indirect or consequential, however arising) suffered by the Guest or any person associated with the Guest in relation to the booked activity.

All activities have elements of risk and all guests undertaking any Activity do so voluntarily and at their own risk. To the extent permitted by applicable laws, all warranties, representations and implied terms are also excluded.

The Operator reserves all rights to cancel any Activity at its discretion for (but not limited to) any of the following reasons:


a) waterway, road or weather conditions;
b) lack of numbers participating in the Activity;
c) unsuitability of Guest(s) due to reasons such as age, ill health, poor fitness, intoxication or any other reasons rendering a Guest unsuitable or unfit to participate in the Activity;
d) any other circumstances which are beyond the reasonable control of the Operator. All Guests agree to adhere to any instructions in relation to the Activity from the Operator at all time.These terms are subject to rights and remedies you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 2003.


SAFETY TERMS AND CUSTOMER DECLARATION

In any adventure activity, there is an element of risk involved. Risks in undertaking this activity
include property damage, personal injury, illness as a result of adverse weather conditions, and risk
of drowning

The staff and management of Kahu Kayaks limited take all practicable steps to identify and minimise
potential dangers. However, you must follow our instructions [and use the safety equipment
provided] at all times. Adults accompanying any person under the age of 18 must ensure that the
underage person follows our instructions at all times. -You must release or identify Kahu Kayaks and
our staff against any liability we incur to anyone else, resulting from your failure to follow our
instructions or the failure of any person accompanying you under the age of 18 to follow our
instructions.

We reserve the right to withdraw any person who in our opinion is likely to endanger themselves or
others. We also reserve the right to cancel the [insert description of your activity. e.g. 'Trip"] if we
become concerned for any reason for your safety or that of any other person.

WARNING: Under New Zealand law it is extremely unlikely that you will be able to sue anyone if you
are injured. In addition, New Zealand's accident compensation scheme provides only limited
assistance to visitors to New Zealand who are injured. We strongly recommend that all visitors to
New Zealand have full insurance covering any injury they might suffer, including medical treatment
cover, before undertaking this activity.

EXCLUSTONS: To the extent permitted by law, all our liability for damage to your property,
disruption to travel plans, or mental injury is excluded. This exclusion is subject to any rights or
remedies you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
