New Zealand destinations
The Blue Heron is unique. Established in the 1940s and one of a handful of waterfront holiday parks in Northland, the Blue Heron has been a part of New Zealand holidays for generations.
Named for the Blue Herons who nest in the 200-year-old Pohutukawa trees , the park sits on a private peninsula at Tamaterau on the shores of the Whangarei Harbour. It is a nature lovers’ haven with abundant bird and marine life.
Set in native, subtropical bush, our boutique size and standards ensure your holiday, conference, or special event will be magical.
