Self-Drive Option / Meeting us on the ski-field:

If choosing to self-drive to the launch area or meeting us on the ski-field (winter flights) you understand that a driver is required to drive your vehicle down the mountain to the landing area and that no transport is provided to retrieve your vehicle from the launch area should you not have your own driver.

Winter Paragliding Chair-lift Fee & Spectators:

Our winter paragliding takes place from the top of Coronet Peak at 5400ft. To access this launch area, the pilot and customer are required to ride a chair-lift to the top of the mountain. Either a ski-pass or a one-off foot pass is required. This is not included in the price of the tandem flight as many of our customers already have ski-passes they can use. Skytrek can provide a one-off footpass to the customer at time of check-in if required. The cost for this is set by NZSKI and is currently $35 per person. Shoes that provide ankle-support ie hiking boots are required to ride the chairlifts. Skytrek can provide hiking boots at time of check-in if required at no charge.

Individuals traveling with a fare-paying passenger may come along subject to space being available in the courtesy van. During the winter time, spectators won't be able to ride the chairlift to the top of the mountain to witness the take-off.
