  • Had a very pleasant stay. We stayed 2 nights and had booked 2 rooms via travelbug. Even had the accommodation confirmed. I phoned the lodge a couple of weeks later, just to make sure. They had only booked us in for 1 unit, so i said that i needed 2. Luckily there was one still available. The rooms were very spacious and what we wanted. We were in masterton for a wedding and found the lodge to be very central to where we needed to go. We will stay there again. 5

  • We stayed 3 nights in an access unit. It was quiet, clean and new. Bathroom door didn't seem to lock shut but that didn't worry us. Lots of space in these units, heating seemed to be sufficient as we had a couple of cool evenings and mornings and they were well stocked with kitchen necessities. Service was great. I would use them again. Thanks. 5

  • I booked two rooms and paid for them 6 weeks in advance. We were asked on our arrived how we wanted to pay for them. As it was a cold two nights in Masterton we found the unit heating very poor. For such a new Motel we had CRT TV sets that were set on wide screen at the decoder, which made viewing difficuilt,especially teletext, when trying to see what was happening with the US dollar. We made a couple of trips to town as there was no cooked breakfasts at the weekends. This is the second time I have stayed at this Motel, the first time was great. 1

  • Kia Ora Terry It sounds like your stay wasn't satisfactory, we apologize. One of those heater's was playing up and we have replaced it, they are normally more than sufficient for a studio unit. We will get our television service agent, to see if he can adjust the decoders for us as well. Breakfast is available on weekends,I'm not sure why you thought they weren't.
