Description

We welcome mountain bikers and hikers along our trail.
Back country huts have a long history in our country's culture. The Mud Hut, Slate Hut are located at different points along the trail and the Red Shed is located near the homestead.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled 7 days or less before arrival 100% of the total booking amount would be forfeited

Bookit’s Amendments and Cancellations

Cancellation policies are specific to each supplier and are detailed on the payment confirmation page prior to final booking confirmation.

Bookit's non-refundable fee of NZD20.00 also applies to all cancellations regardless of the supplier’s cancellation policy.

Where you are entitled to a refund the refund will be made to the same credit card that you used to confirm the booking.

For amendments of bookings additional charges or a refund may apply depending on the nature of the booking amendment.

If you make a booking using a discount code you will not be able to use that discount code on any subsequent booking amendment. Amendments will be made using the normal price of the product being amended.

TERMS & CONDITIONS Welcome to Welcome Rock Trails! In order for visitors to understand the hazards associated with backcountry hiking biking 4WD or overnight options please read the terms and conditions below. You will be required to acknowledge our terms and conditions below if you wish to undertake our activities: 1.I am aware that the activity involves some physical exertion and the inherent dangers and risk including changeable weather conditions. 2.I declare and confirm that I am physically fit and have no condition or injury that could be affected by this activity. If you have any medical conditions that may compromise your ability to partake in any aspects of Welcome Rock you must inform us. 3.I will comply with all instructions of Welcome Rock and their staff 4.I am aware that if I am or if I appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs I will not be permitted to participate in the activity and I will not be entitled to a refund. 5.I understand that it may be necessary for Welcome Rock to cancel the activity at short notice. Welcome Rock will not be responsible (to the extent permitted by law) for any loss arising from such a cancellation. 6.I accept that Welcome Rock will not be responsible for and I release waive and hold harmless its officers and/or its employees from all claims I may have in respect of any losses damages expenses or injury arising during or in conjunction with my participation in this activity including any claims for damages caused by negligence of Welcome Rock its officers and/or its employees together with any costs including legal fees that may be incurred as a result of any such claims losses damages or expenses whether valid or not (to the extent permitted by law) regardless of how that loss damage expense or injury is caused. 7.I also indemnify Welcome Rock its staff against all claims losses damage or expenses or claim that any of my guests or any one or more of my or their executors administrators heirs next of kin successors or assignees may have or assert and against any costs including legal fees that may be incurred as a result of any such claims losses damages or expenses whether valid or not. 8.If I am not a resident of New Zealand I declare that I will not endeavour to avoid conditions 6 and 7 by commencing legal action in another country. 9.I hereby consent to receive medical treatment which may be deemed to be necessary by Welcome Rock Trails in the case of injury accident or illness during the course of undertaking this activity and also agree to indemnify Welcome Rock in respect of such medical treatment. 10.I have read understood and accepted the terms and conditions and understand that Welcome Rock will rely on this declaration and on the information I have provided. Code of conduct 1.Riders to wear helmets and inform walkers as they approach 2.Walkers give way to cyclists 3.Pack in pack out (rubbish) 4.Bring sufficient food and clothing for ALL weather conditions 5.If a hut has the occupied sign installed please do not approach the hut 6.Respect others on the trail and the environment 7.Cellular coverage is available for approximately half the trail in an emergency ring 111 8.Above all HAVE FUN.
