Directions

From SH2 near the Wellington end of Greytown turn into Humphries Street. Continue down Humphries street and Woodside road to the train tracks. Go past the entry to the train station to the T intersection, turn right and it is just on the left, the second driveway - the one story black house.

Woodside Bed and Breakfast is a brand new quiet Bed and Breakfast in rural Wairarapa. The house is 7 minutes drive from the centre of Greytown and 1 minute drive from the Greytown Railway Station (Woodside). The room has a King size bed that can be re-configured to two single beds if required, please say if the single bed configuration is required at the time of booking. The room has its own ensuite bathroom with shower, toilet and hand basin. There is a TV with streaming services only - you will need to use your own login for paid services, but free services like TVNZ+ and ThreeNow are pre-configured; tea and coffee making facilities with plunger coffee; a mini fridge; a table and chairs. Wireless internet is included in the room rate, but as we are in a rural location we are on rural broadband so don't expect really fast speeds The room is well insulated and has thermostatically controlled underfloor heating. There is a small outdoor area with a table and chairs outside the room for just that rooms guests as well as a larger shared outdoor area that includes a swimming pool and a spa. The swimming pool is not heated, and both pool and spa are open until 10pm. Guests must wear swimwear at all times in the spa and pool as they are shared facilities. Included in the room rate is breakfast in the morning - this your choice from cereal (including homemade untoasted muesli), Homemade Sourdough toast and spreads, bacon, eggs, barista style coffee (with oat milk available), tea, other seasonal items e.g. Homemade hot cross buns, homemade crumpets, homemade bagels, avocado, tomato.
